In the last elections, the Indian National Congress (INC) managed to win maximum number of seats when compared to any other regional party which is 29 but still 2 seats far away to show majority to form government in state, finally Mukul Sangma who is 11th CM (Chief Minister) re-elected in the state from the Congress party, although the independent candidates managed to win 13 seats, Hill State People’s Democratic Party with 4 seats, United Democratic Party won 8 seats, NCP also won 2 seats, let us see what happens this year, may be the BJP contest the polls or not, will be cleared after the official announcement.
